1960 Thunderbird Convertible
RARE MODEL & REAL “J” CODE. This car underwent a complete restoration about 10 years ago. Very unique and rare optioned T-bird. The car was ordered with a 430cid engine instead of the standard engine 352 . It has a automatic transmission with standard rear end all specs are has it came out from the factory. This beautiful t-bird comes equipped with power steering, power brakes, electric seats, electric windows, and electric convertible top which is coded “73”.
What’s really special about this car is its rear bumper decal. The bumper has a 50 year old decal that says” Kennedy Johnson” which has been on the bumper since his presidential first term back in the 1960’s.
Only 11,860 units in 1960 were made in convertible. About 5% of them came with the J code 430cid engine, and out of those it is believed very few were made in Aquamarine. The interior is a two tone light green and dark green finish with chrome finish through out the interior including the dasboard. This is a very clean and rare car with a a lot of history that will get attention wherever you drive it!
